From start to finish, inside and out, I pay
careful attention to every detail of craftsmanship using traditional,
tested ideas. I shape, feel, carve and listen to the wood to create
the best, bright flamenco sound or to create a classical sound that
is well balanced with ecxellent sustain and volume. I give extra
time and effort to my finishing process, using French Polish rather
than lacquer finishes. The layers of hand rubbed French Polish is
not only more beautiful, but also allows the tonal qualities of
the wood to come through more freely. Love of the creative process
poured in to each guitar, and sanding and shaping to perfection
make my hand built guitars a lifetime treasure to own and to play.
